Who can Apply: Madhyamik pass candidates with Trade Certificate course pass or Act Apprenticeship Course pass from N.C.V.T./ S.C.V.T. approved I.T.I. Trade certificate course pass in any one of the following—Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mill Wright/Maintenance mechanic, Mechanic Radio & T.V., Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Hit Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and A.C. Mechanic were eligible to apply for the post.
Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Diploma Pass candidates from Polytechnic may also apply.
Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical or Electronics Engineering’s B.E or B.Tech boys/girls were also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 30yrs as on 1-1-2012. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs, Widow or legally divorced women who have not re-married: 35yrs; Rail staff and Ex-Serviceman: as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 per month and Grade pay of Rs.1900

Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test. Exact date of written test will be informed to the candidates through call letter.
Written Test will be of 1 ½ hour and will consist 120 nos. of Objective Multiple Choice Type questions. Topics will be (i) General Awareness, (ii) Arithmetic, (iii)General Intelligence & Reasoning, (iv)General Science and (v)Technical’s topics.
There will be Negative marking for three wrong answers. If selected then there will be Aptitude Test and finally Medical Examination.
