Municipal Service Commission, Kolkata, is recruiting 11 Males/ Females for the post of – “Assistant Manager (Law)” for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Selection of the candidates will be through recruitment examination. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application form within last date. Qualification requirement and eligibility norms in brief is given below —
1. Assistant Manager (Law): 11 Nos. Two panels will be prepared in order of merit on basis of recruitment examination.
— Main Panel: 8 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
— Supplementary Panel: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification Required: Degree in Law and atleast 3 years of experience as a practicing advocate in the court of law.
Pay scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade pay: Rs.4800/-
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 37 yrs as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others—as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination in two successive stages – (i) Written Test consisting of Paper-I & Paper-II-both 100 marks each (ii) Personality Test-20 marks.
Written Examination will be at Kolkata.
Application fee: Rs.220 is to be paid in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of – “Secretary, Municipal Service Commission” and payable at – Kolkata.
Write name and address on the reverse side of Draft. No application fee shall be paid by the candidates belonging to S.C. & S.T. category.
