Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) is inviting Online application for filling up the posts at E-0 level on contractual basis. Total vacancies – 26 Nos. Posts – Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical), Asst. Finance Officer, Asst. Officer (Relief & Rehabilitation). Advertisement No. HPPCL/Appt./2/13. Eligible candidates may apply online within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical): 10 Nos. (Gen—1; Ex-Serviceman—1; Sportsperson—1; SC-PWD—1)
Qualification: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering OR M.Tech (Civil/ Mechanical)/ PGD in Hydro Power Plant engineering with atleast 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST).
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 7 Nos. (Ex-Serviceman—4; SC—2; ST—1)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical) and B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical and Electronics)/ M.Tech (Electrical)/PGD in Hydro Power Plant engineering with atleast 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST).
3. Assistant Finance Officer: 7 Nos. (Gen—3; Ex-Serviceman—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: CA/ICWA/M.Com/MBA(Finance) with B.Com with atleast 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST).
4. Assistant Officer (Relief & Rehabilitation): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: BE in Rural Engineering or Equivalent or M.Phil (Sociology/ Social Work) with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST).
Preference shall be given to the candidates having R&R experience in hydropower sector
Age Limit (For all posts): Between 18 to 45 years as on 17th August, 2013. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Minimum Rs.16650 plus Grade Pay: Rs.5800/-

Before applying online, candidates must prepare a DD of below prescribed amount as Application Fee.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- in form of Demand Draft (Rs.100/- for reserved categories). The draft should be prepared in favour of — Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited and payable at any scheduled bank at Shimla.
Candidate must write his/her name, application number, mobile number and sign on the reverse/ back side of the draft.
Candidates must also keep their scan passport size image and signature ready since those scan images will have to be uploaded during Online registration.
After filling all the details in online application form, click on ‘Submit’ button’. A unique application number will be generated by the system, please note the application number for future reference and use.
After successful submission of online application, take a print out of the online application form and send it along with the DD on or before the below prescribed last date.
Self addressed envelope of size 12 cm X 27 cm duly affixed with Rs. 25/- / postage stamp be sent alongwith the application.
