Delhi School of Journalism is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 97 posts of Assistant Professor (English/ Hindi medium). The candidates will be appointed on Contract/ Guest basis. DELHI SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 97 POSTS OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ENGLISH/ HINDI MEDIUM). LAST DATE — 15/07/2019

 

1. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR JOURNALISM ON CONTRACT (ENGLISH/ HINDI MEDIUM)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (English-01, Hindi-01)
Educational Qualification: NET in Journalism/ Mass Media and Mass Communication is mandatory. Provided however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in Journalism/ Mass Media and Mass Communication in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of M. Phil./ Ph.D degree) Regulations, 2009 and 2016 will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility criteria of NET.

 

2. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR JOURNALISM/ RELATED AREA AND LANGUAGES ON GUEST BASIS (ENGLISH/ HINDI MEDIUM)
No. of Vacancies: 95 Nos. (English-60, Hindi-35)
Educational Qualification: NET in Journalism/ Mass Media and Mass Communication/ relevant area/ subject/ relevant language is mandatory (for details please see the Official Advt.). Provided however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in Journalism/ Mass Media and Mass Communication/ relevant area/ subject/ relevant language in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of M. Phil./ Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 and 2016 will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility criteria of NET.

 

The candidates will be appointed on Contract/ Guest basis.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. The Interview will be held on 20th July, 2019.
