ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
No. of Vacancies: 17 Nos. (Chemistry-01, Education-01, Economics-02, English-01, Hindi-01, Hindi-01, History-03, Mathematics-03, Mizo-03, Physics-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from a recognized University, or an equivalent degree.
ii) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test like SLET/ SET.
iii) Relaxation of 5% will be provided at the Master’s level for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
Note: Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2009, will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET. NET/ SLET/ SET will also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.39100

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 300/- (Rs.150 for SC/ ST candidates). Fee can be paid by Cash or Treasury Challan or through uncrossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission or by depositing to the Commission’s SBI account.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD CANDIDATES.
