Educational Qualification:
i) Master’s Degree in Law in the relevant subject of any recognised University with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and a good academic record. Provided further that holders of Ph.D in Law, who have passed their Master’s degree in Law prior to the 19th September 1991, shall possess not less than 50% marks in the Master’s degree in Law.
ii) Must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited Test. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET or an accredited Test. iii) Must have enrolled as an advocate in the Bar council.
Preference shall be given to persons who have actual experience at the Bar or teaching experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01.07.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP Rs. 7000/-

Educational Qualification:
i) MA Degree in any of the universities in the State of Tamil Nadu or a degree of equivalence in the respective subjects with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in the respective subject and a good academic record. Provided further that holders of PhD degree who have passed their Master’s degree in the respective subject prior to the 19th September 1991, shall possess not less than 50%t of marks.
