ASSISTANT SOFTWARE ENGINEER (ASE)
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos. (UR-19, OBC-14, SC-08, ST-04, EWS-05)
Educational Qualification:
i) BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Information Technology or Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Applications, or MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science- 04 years degree course). Relevant Degree from recognized Institute or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
ii) Candidates should possess valid GATE 2019 score in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) Paper conducted by IIT/ Madras.
iii) Candidates with ME/ M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering can also apply provided they possess the required GATE 2019 scores.
Age Limit: Minimum 22 years and maximum 27 years as on 07/08/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.44900/- per month.
Note: Candidates appearing/ appeared for the final semester of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.
The vacancies are for on-going and upcoming Projects of Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis for a period of Five (05) years, which includes a probationary period of one year.
The selected candidates could be posted at CRIS Headquarters in New Delhi or at any of the Regional Offices at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad (Hyderabad), or any project site in India.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of GATE 2019 Score.
