1. SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALIST
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Animal Science: 04 posts (Gen-02, OBC-01, Gen (PWD)-01)
ii) Horticulture: 01 post (Gen)
iii) Agril. Extension: 02 posts (Gen (PWD)-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: A 1st class or high 2nd class Master’s degree in the relevant subject/ discipline after a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University.
Desirable: Doctoral degree and/ or NET in the relevant subject/ field.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
2. ASSISTANT (ADMINISTRATION/ ACCOUNTS)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University. ii) Working knowledge of Computers and experience in handling computerized accounting packages.
Experience: Five years’ experience in accounting and office management in a Govt./ quasi Govt./ University/ Institute or any other private organisation.
Desirable: Good communication skill in English.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/-
The vacancies are for different Krishi Vigyan Kendras (Cooch Behar, Darjeeling, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda) under the aegis of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
