DELHI SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD (DSSSB) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 982 POSTS OF ASSISTANT TEACHER (PRIMARY/ NURSERY) AND JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL). LAST DATE — 15/10/2019
1. ASSISTANT TEACHER (PRIMARY) UNDER DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION.
No. of Vacancies: 637 Nos. (UR-332, OBC-119, SC-115, ST-35, EWS-36. Out of which, 29 posts are reserved for PH)
Educational Qualification: i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (recognition norms and procedure) regulations-2002 .
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board.
OR
Graduation and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.
ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
iii) Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary Level.
Note:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks (in Academic qualification) will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 15/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. ASSISTANT TEACHER (NURSERY) UNDER DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION.
No. of Vacancies: 141 Nos. (UR-77, OBC-26, SC-21, ST-09, EWS-08. Out of which, 11 posts are reserved for PH)
Educational Qualification: i) Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/ University.
ii) Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme for a duration of not less than 02 years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognized Institute.
iii) Must have passed Hindi at Secondary Level.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 15/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
3. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) UNDER DELHI JAL BOARD.
No. of Vacancies: 204 Nos. (UR-55, OBC-63,SC-39, ST-27, EWS-20. Out of which, 08 posts are reserved for PWD)
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
OR
ii) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Board/ Institute plus 02 years experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering works.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 15/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
The vacancies are under Directorate of Education & Delhi Jal Board of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through One Tier (Technical)/ Two Tier (Technical) Examination scheme. The centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi/ NCR only.
