2513 Madhyamik Boys and Girls as “Assistant Teacher” in Schools approved by Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi

Government of Jharkhand, under Directorate of Madhyamik Education, is recruiting 2513 boys and girls for the post of “Assistant Teacher” in various  Madhyamik School approved by Jharkhand Academic Council. Graduate done boys and girls may apply –

Name of the Post: Assistant Teacher
No. Of Vacant Posts: 2513 nos. (General-1259, S.C-255, S.T-654,  M.O.B.C.-199, B.C-146). Numbers of Posts varies from subject to subject.

Qualification of the Candidates: Graduate boys and girls in discipline of Arts, Science or Commerce with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) may apply for the post. Candidates willing to apply in any one of the discipline/subject, should have that particular subject/discipline in their degree course – English, Hindi, Science (Mathematics), Political Science, Bioscience, Geography, Accountancy, History, Santhali, Oriya, Bengali, Home Science and Commerce. In all cases, candidates should have acquired B.Ed course from any N.C.T.E’s approved Institutions.

Candidates will be selected through Written Test at the respective centres of the following four zones—Ranchi (code 41), Dumka (code 45), Caibasa (code 43) and Medinipur (code 44).
Questions for the written test will be set  in Hindi or English.

Along with application, enclosed the following documents—

• Attested copies of all Educational certificates, starting from Madhyamik level exam.
• Attested copy of B.Ed course certificate
• Caste Certificate, in case of SC/ST, OBC, BC
• Bank Draft of Rs.750 in favour of—“Jharkhand Academic Council Fund” and payable at—“Ranchi”. On the back of the Draft, write your name and Address.
• On the top of the application containing envelope, superscribe—“Advertisement No. 93/2011 and Assistant Teacher for _______ Subject”.
