1. ASSISTANT TEACHER- LOWER PRIMARY
No. of Vacancies: 2966 Nos.
Educational Qualification: At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized Institutes.
OR
At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 04 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation from recognized University with Assam LP- TET and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized Institute.

2. ASSISTANT TEACHER- UPPER PRIMARY (SOCIAL SCIENCE)

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized Institute.
OR
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized Institute/ University.
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institute/ University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. with at least 50% marks from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institute/ University.
OR
B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institute/ University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 01 year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized Institute/ University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC/MOBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Assam under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission on Contractual basis.
Note:- Only candidates who are permanent resident of Assam are eligible to apply.
