1. ASSISTANT TEACHER
No. of Vacancies: 5515 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
ii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

7. MANIPURI LANGUAGE TEACHER

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ PWD and 03 years for OBC category.
The vacancies are for Lower Primary Schools and Upper Primary Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. The posts are Regular in nature.
Candidates who have passed TET for 6th Scheduled Areas are not eligible.
Candidates, who have passed TET for Madrassa in Hindi Teacher (Assistant Teacher) category only are eligible for the post of Hindi Teacher.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 150/- for SC, ST(P), ST(H) candidates). Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati- 19. The candidates must have to submit the IPO in original at the time of document verification only.
