ASSISTANT TOURIST OFFICER GRADE-II

Educational Qualification:
i) Degree in Travel and Tourism OR Any Degree with Diploma in Tourism.
ii) Must have undergone Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation offered by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or any equivalent courses offered by any recognized Institution- All India Diploma programs or any higher level program in which office automation is a subject like DOEACC – ‘O’ level, ‘A’ level, etc.
iii) Proficiency in English and Tamil- Should have studied Tamil and English as one of the Subject in Degree Course.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01.07.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.19500- 62000/-
The vacancies are under the Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-Serviceman as per Govt. norms. No maximum age limit (i.e candidates should not have completed 58 years of age) for SC/ SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM and Destitute Widows of all Categories.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Main Written Examination and Certificate Verification. The Main Written Examination will be held on 29/09/2019 at the following Centres- Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai. The Certificate Verification will be conducted in December 2019.
