ASSISTANT TOWN PLANNER- GROUP-A
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (UR-06, SEBC-01, ST-03, SC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Must be an Associate Member of Institute of Town Planners (India) or have Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Post Graduate Degree in Planning, from a recognized University.
ii) The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia, and must have-
a) Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject, or
b) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject, or
c) Passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a school or educational Institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt., or
d) Passed at least in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
The vacancies are in Odisha Municipal Planning Service under Housing and Urban Development Department.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other Odisha will be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, Ex-servicemen and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva Voce Test. The Written Examination will be held at Cuttack. It may also be held at Bhubaneswar/ Balasore/ Berhampur/ Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates from the respective zones.
