ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 341 POSTS OF ASSISTANT REVIEW OFFICER, ADDITIONAL PRIVATE SECRETARY AND DRIVERS GRADE- IV (GROUP-C, CLASS-III). LAST DATE — 07.01.2019
1. ASSISTANT REVIEW OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 277 Nos. (UR-140, SC-58, ST-05, OBC-74)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
ii) Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution/ University, or ‘O’ Level Certificate awarded by NIELET/ DOEACC Society, or CCC Certificate in Computer Science from recognized Institute.
iii) Computer Knowledge i.e., Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation etc.
Preferential Qualification: Candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years OR who has obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps shall be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay- Rs.4600/-
2. ADDITIONAL PRIVATE SECRETARY
No. of Vacancies: 23 Nos. (UR-13, OBC-06, SC-04)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
ii) Candidates must possess good knowledge of English Shorthand and typewriting with minimum speed of 100 and 40 WPM respectively.
iii) Knowledge of Data Entry, word processing and Computer Operation would be an essential qualification.
Preferential Qualification: Candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years OR who has obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps shall be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay-Rs. 4,800/-
3. DRIVERS GRADE- IV (GROUP-C, CLASS-III)
No. of Vacancies: 41 Nos. (UR-20, OBC-10, SC-11)
Educational Qualification: i) Must have passed at least Class Xth examination.
ii) Possess a valid Motor Vehicle Driving License for a period of not less than 05 years.
iii) Have a knowledge of traffic regulations.
iv) Have ability to read and write Hindi Devnagri script.
v) Possess a strong physique.
Preferential Qualification: i) Candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years OR who has obtained A/B certificate of the National Cadet Corps shall be given preference.
ii) Preference shall also be given to the candidates who have knowledge of Motor Mechanism.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
The vacancies are in the Establishment of Allahabad High Court and Lucknow Bench.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Uttar Pardesh shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC of U.P and 15 years for PWD category of U.P. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Fitness: Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Shorthand Test, Computer Knowledge Test and Technical Driving Test (Trade Test) wherever applicable.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.750/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates of Uttar Pradesh) for the posts at Sl. No. 1 & 2 and Rs.500/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates of Uttar Pradesh) for the posts at Sl. No. 3 as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
