Office of the Dy. Director of Agricultural (Admn) & Project Director, Dakshin Dinajpur, Balurghat — is inviting application for the contractual posts of – Volunteers for Pest & Disease Scouting under Disease and Pest Warning System backend by ATMA, in different Blocks of Dakshin Dinapur district. The engagements are on temporary basis. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
Volunteers for Pest & Disease Scouting: 10 Nos. (2 Nos. per Block)

Qualification required: Higher Secondary pass with Biology/ Vocational Agriculture.
Basic knowledge of computer application and internet is desirable as well as local village youths are desirable.
Remuneration: Rs.5000/- per month.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs
The engagement to the above posts is on purely on contractual basis initially for period of 6 months under the project on “Disease and Pest Warning System” of RKVY, Stream-I, funded by ATMA of Dakshin Dinajpur.
Eligibility: Candidates must reside in local area of the blocks/district having agricultural background, riding cycle and have own mobile phone.
Candidate must have sound health.
Selected candidates will have work under the supervision of the PIA’s as to be assigned by the respective PIA’s on “Disease and Pestilence Warning System”.
