SAIL – ROURKELA STEEL PLANT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 62 POSTS OF ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE). LAST DATE — 08/04/2019
1. ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE)
No. of Vacancies: 62 Nos. (UR-25, SC-10, ST-14, OBC-07, EWS-06. Out of which, 05 posts are reserved for PWD & 09 posts for ESM)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Fitter: 36 posts
ii) Electrician: 16 posts
iii) Welder: 07 posts
iv) Instrumentation: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with ITI (Full time) in the relevant trade of Fitter/ Electrician/ Welder/ Instrumentation from recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 08/04/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15830-22150/-
The candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo, on the job training, for a period of two years, which can be extended for a further period of two years, as per requirement. During the training period, candidates will be paid consolidated pay of Rs.8600/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.10000/- per month for the 2nd year of training.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 155 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 75 cms; Chest (expanded) — 79 cms; Weight — 45 Kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Chest — 70 cms; Chest (expanded) — 73 cms; Weight — 35 Kgs
Candidates’ Selection: selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Skill Test/ Trade Test. The Written Test will be conducted in Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
