Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank, West Bengal, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the posts of – Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Candidates who have declared qualified at the Common Written Examination (CWE) for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September and October, 2013 are eligible to apply. No. of vacancies and brief details are given below —
1. Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): 66 Nos. (Gen—33; SC—10; ST—5; OBC—18). Out of them 2 Nos. PWD candidates.
2. Officer Scale-I: 261 Nos. (Gen—130; SC—39; ST—20; OBC—72). Out them 8 PWD candidates
3. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 215 Nos. (Gen—108; SC—49; ST—11; OBC—47). Out of them 6 PWD and 22 Ex-serviceman
Eligibility: —
Candidates who have appeared and qualified in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sept/ October, 2013 are eligible to apply for the vacancies. Candidates must have obtained the Standard Qualifying Scores (See the advt. link given below)
SCALE OF PAY:
Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Rs.7200— Rs.19300.
Officer JMG Scale-I: Rs.14500— Rs.25700.
Officer MMG Scale-II: Rs.19400— Rs.28100.
Probation Period:
Selected Office Assistants (Multipurpose) shall be on probation for a period of one year, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding six months.
Selected Officer shall be on probation for a period of two years, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding one year.
Candidates’ Selection: Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call from among who have applied to bank, the number, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies short-listed based on their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) in CWE. Remaining applicants, if any will not receive an interview call from the Bank. The total marks for Interview will be 30.
The Interview will be held at Berhampore, District: Murshidabad, West Bengal and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. Information will be available in the Bank’s website.
How to Apply: Apply online only through the official website of the Bank — www.bgvb.co.in (See the live URL given below) between 05.12.2013 and 20.12.2013.
After successful submission of Online Application form, print-out the System Generated Registration Slip and retain it safely for future use. There is no need to send any hard copy of application to the bank.
