Educational Qualification for Fire Officer Recruitment 2024

  • Get a B.E. (Fire) degree from the National Fire Services College (NFSC) in Nagpur.
    OR
  • Complete a four-year Graduation Degree (B Tech / BE or equivalent) in Fire Technology / Fire Engineering / Safety and Fire Engineering from a college or university approved by AICTE/UGC.
    OR
  • Obtain a Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by AICTE/UGC. Plus, you need to complete the Divisional Offices course from the National Fire Service College in Nagpur.

Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit should be between 22 years to 35 years.

Skill Required:

  • The person should know a lot about fire safety rules and laws, and they should have a good understanding of how to prevent fires and protect buildings, especially tall ones.

Application Fees
Rs.600/- + Applicable Taxes + Payment Gateway Charges for General, EWS & OBC candidates.
Rs.100/- + Applicable Taxes + Payment Gateway Charges for SC, ST & Women.

Note: The candidates are required to pay the non-refundable application fee/ Intimation charges irrespective of whether the online test is conducted or not and even if the candidate is shortlisted or not for the interview.

Payment of Fees

Step 1: If you’re in the General, EWS, or OBC category, you need to pay Rs. 600 plus taxes and charges. If you’re in the SC, ST, or Women category, you only need to pay Rs. 100 plus taxes and charges, but that’s just for the application.

Step 2: You have to pay the fee online through the payment gateway provided.

Step 3: Once you’ve filled out your application form and checked it’s all correct, you make the payment through the payment gateway. After that, you can’t change anything.

Step 4: You can pay using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. Any extra charges for the online transaction are your responsibility.

Step 5: Once the payment is successful, you’ll get an e-receipt and a printable application form with all your details.

Step 6: If your online payment doesn’t go through, you’ll have to register again and try paying online once more.

Step 7: You can also reprint your application form later if you need to check your fee details again.

Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID and Contact Number. It should be kept active till the completion of this recruitment project. The bank may send call letters for Personal interviews and/or Selection Processes on the registered Email ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying.
