Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy, is recruiting 36 persons as Stipendiary Trainee for the trade of “Plant Operator”, “Basic Science (Health Physics)”, “Mill Wright” and “Instrumentation” through Special recruitment Drive for OBC candidates. Higher Secondary and ITI candidates may apply. Advt.No.02/2011. Details below—
1. Plant Operator: 10 Nos.
Qualification: Higher Secondary in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.
2. Basic Science (Health Physics): 8 Nos.
Qualification: Same as above.
3. Mill Wright: 8 Nos.
Qualification: HSC with 60%marks (with Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects) or SSC with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate AND ITI/NCVT in Mill Wright Mechanic trade of 2 years duration or one year of duration with one of experience in the trade of Mill Wright.
4. Instrumentation: 10 Nos.
Qualification: HSC with 60%marks (with Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects) or SSC with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate AND ITI/NCVT in Instrumentation trade of 2 years duration or one year of duration with one of experience in the trade.
Age limit: for all posts- between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 26/12/2011.
Physical Standard: Height- 160cms, Weight-45.5 kgs
Training will be provided to the candidates, which will be of 2 years duration. During training period, stipend of Rs.6200 per month on the first year and Rs.7200 per month on 2nd year will be given.
Candidates will be selected through Written Examination which will be Objective Multiple Choice questions on syllabus of HSC/SSC and ITI. After written examination, Interview will hold on the same day.
Written Examination/ Interview will hold at Chennai/Kalpakkam which will be stretched to 2 days therefore candidates should prepare themselves for staying 2 days. The date and venue will be informed later to the candidates.
How to Apply: Application form can be prepared on foolscap paper (34 x 22 cms) as per given format and then fill it with own handwriting in Capital Letters only.
Along with application form, enclose the following attested documents—
- Educational qualifications/experience and technical qualifications
- Date of birth/Proof of age (SSC Mark sheet).
- OBC certificate in latest format applicable to Central Government employment
- PH certificate, for PH candidates.
- A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right hand top corner of the application. One additional copy of photograph should also be sent along with the application.
