The JLN Hospital & Research Centre (JLNHRC), Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), is recruiting 10 Junior Staff Nurse (Trainee) and Pharmacist (Trainee). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of SAIL. Educational qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief are given below —
1. Jr. Staff Nurse (Trainee)
Number of Vacancies: 8 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—3; OBC—1). Out of them one for Ex-Servicemen
Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Nursing) or 03yrs Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Applicant shall have valid registration in Nursing Council AND shall have atleast one year post qualification experience.
2. Pharmacist (Trainee)
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy or 10+2 with Diploma in Pharmacy (2yrs duration course) and shall be registered with Pharmacy Council. Candidates shall have atleast one year post qualification experience in the field.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 28yrs as on 01/02/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates selected as Jr. Staff Nurse (Trainee) and Pharmacist (Trainee) will be placed on training for a minimum period of 2 (two) years which can be extended by another two years as per requirement.
On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in S-3 grade Rs.9160—13150. After Successful completion of Training, Candidates shall be placed under probation for 1 year. The selected candidates will be paid consolidated pay during training period of Rs.10700 and Rs.12200 in first year and second year respectively.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview.
Date and venue will be intimated through Admit card and will be available at SAIL’s Website in due course – www.sail.co.in

Application & Processing Fee: Rs.250/- is to be paid by General and OBC candidates through any branch of State Bank of India by means of Pay in Slip (SBI Challan).
SC/ST/PWD candidates shall pay only Rs.50/- as processing fee.
The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details. Candidates must retain the print-out safely for future correspondence. Do not send any print-out/ hard copy of application to SAIL.
