The Department of Agronomy at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), is currently accepting applications for the Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship. The fellowship, offering a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000/- along with HRA and additional contingency funds, is available for one year under the DST-SERB project.

Scholarship Name: Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Eligibility:
- Must hold a Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Life Science.
- Preference for research in soil organic carbon.
- PhD must be obtained from an Indian university or institute with a NIRF ranking of up to 20, or from abroad.
- Must have a proven track record with published work in at least two papers in Q1 or Q2 journals, listed in SCOPUS/Web of Science.
Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit is 45 years.
- Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates are eligible for a 5-year relaxation in the age limit.
