Educational Qualification:
- As per BSF official notification candidate should have completed the 10th, Diploma, ITI from any of the recognized boards or Universities.
Age:Â
- As per the Border Security Force recruitment notification, the Candidate’s maximum age should be 52 years, as of 03-Jan-2023.
Pay Scale:Â
- Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100 Per Month
Physical Standard: —
- Height: 165 Cm. (160 cms for SC/ST, Adivasis Mizos and Nagas). For hill area candidates- 162.5 cms
- Chest (unexpanded/ expanded):75 cms/80 cms. (73cms/ 78cms for SC/ST and Adivasis, Mizos. Nagas).
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height as per medical standard.
- Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without glasses.
- The candidates must not have knock-knees, flat feet, varicose veins or squint in eyes, or any other obvious deformities. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
Candidates’ Selection:
- Candidates will be selected through Written Examination, Physical measurement and verification, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, and Interview. Finally, there will be a Medical examination.
- Written Examination will be of Objective Types with Multiple Choice. If qualified then Physical Measurement and Document verification. After this, candidates will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test will be of—(I) a One-mile race within 6 min 8 Secs, (II) Beam- 5 pull up, (III) a High Jump of 4 ft, (IV) Long Jump of 12 ft, and (V) Balance in 3 attempts. Trade tests will be in respective trade and then Interviews and Medical examinations.
