Bokaro Power Supply Company Ltd (BPSCL) is recruiting 54 Operator cum Technician (Trainee) and Attendant cum Technician (Trainee). 1. OPERATOR CUM TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE)
Number of Vacancies: 42 Nos. (Gen—22; SC—05; ST—10; OBC—05). Out of them 2 PH and 6 Ex-serviceman
Discipline —
— Mechanical: 27 Nos.
— Electrical: 15 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs full time Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline, i.e. Mechanical or Electrical
2. ATTENDANT CUM TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE)
Number of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (Gen—07; SC—01; ST—03; OBC—01). Out of them 1 PH and 1 Ex-serviceman
Discipline —
— Fitter: 08 Nos.
— Electrician: 04 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation with ITI in relevant trades, i.e. Fitter or Electrician
Age Limit (for both post): Minimum 18yrs and Maximum 28yrs as on 01/10/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Physical Standard (applicable for both posts)
Male candidate: Height—155cms; Weight—45kgs; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—75/79cms; Eyesight—6/9 without glass and Color vision—Normal.
Female candidate: Height—143cms; Weight—35kgs; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—75 cms; Eyesight—6/9 without glass and Color vision—Normal
TRAINING PERIOD :
Candidates selected for the above posts will be required to undergo, on the job training, for a period of 02 (two) years, which can be extended for a further period of 02 (two) years, as per requirement.
Emoluments and Pay Scale —
1. Candidates joining as Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be paid consolidated pay of Rs.10700/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.12200/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9160—13150/-
2. Candidates joining as Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be paid consolidated pay of Rs.8600/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.10000/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.8630—12080/-
Candidates’ Selection:—
Selection of the candidate will be through Written Test in Hindi/ English. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview
Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible / shortlisted candidates through post.
Admit card/ call letters will be also available to download from the official website of the company.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.250/– (for Operator cum Technician) and Rs.150/- (for Attendant cum Technician).
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category will be required to pay only processing fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee).
In addition to application fee, candidate must pay Rs.50/- as Bank charges.
