Bokaro Steel Plant- Operator-cum-Technician in SAIL, Jharkhand. 356 Vacancies. Application should reach within- 22/5/2012

Steel Authority of India (SAIL)— Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand, as per Advt. No. BSL/R/2012-02, is recruiting 356 persons for the post of “Operator-cum-Technician”. Diploma in Engineering candidates in the below mentioned discipline may apply for the post. Application form is to be made in Offline mode. Details below—

1. Operator –cum—Technician Trainee/ (S-3): 356 Nos.
Vacancies: 356 Nos. (Gen-180; SC-42; ST-92; OBC-42). Out of the total— 10nos. for PH candidates.
No. of vacancies according to Discipline wise—
Mechanical—85 Nos.
Electrical—115 Nos.
Metallurgy—146 Nos.
Civil—10 Nos.

Qualification: 3 years of Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline, mentioned above, from recognised Institutes.
Age limit and relxation: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/3/2012. Age relaxation—OBC:3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs and PH—10yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs.8250 during first year of Training and Rs.9350 in second year. After completion of Training period, regular payscale will be—Rs.9160—Rs.13150

Selected candidates shall undergo training for two years. The training period may be extended as per requirement. On successful completion of Training, candidates may be regularised as Operator-cum-Technician in S-3 Grade.
Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview. date and venue will be intimated later on to the shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply: Offline mode, i.e. Application form is to be prepared as per prescribed format on plain paper and then along with self-attested copies of documents it should reach the below given address with the deadline.
Candidates are required to prepare an Crossed Demand draft of Rs.250 for General and OBC candidates  and Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH. D.D. should be in favour of—“ Bokaro Steel Plant” payable at “Bokaro Steel City”.
