Board of Practical Training Eastern Region (BOPTER), Kolkata is recruiting Lower Division Clerk. Currently the number of vacancies is one (01) only but may increase. BOARD OF PRACTICAL TRAINING (EASTERN REGION), KOLKATA REQUIRES LOWER DIVISION CLERK. LAST DATE – 30 DAYS.

LOWER DIVISION CLERK
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (General).
The number of vacancies may increased as well as panel of the candidates may be formed from this selection panel will be used to fill up any likely future vacancy arising within a period of six months.

Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Knowledge of Typing with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
Desirable—Certificate course of minimum 6 months duration in Computer and knowledge of Hindi language is desirable.

Age Limit: 30 years as on 01-09-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1900 plus other allowances as per norms. Initial pay will be Rs.18849 (incl. House Rent Allowances)

Candidates’ Selection: The shortlisted candidates shall be required to appear in typing Proficiency test minimum speed of which is 30 w.p.m. to ascertain the fulfillment of essential qualifications. They will also be required to appear in written examination (multiple choice type questions, Matriculation standard). Candidates who will qualify in qualifying test will be called for interview.
