Border Security Force (BSF) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 247 posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator/ Radio Mechanic). Educational Qualification:
A high school diploma or its equivalent from a reputable board and a two-year Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television, Electronics, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Data Preparation & Computer Software, General Electronics,
or
Data Entry Operators from a reputable Institute are both requirements. OR Obtain a passing grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized Board University or Institution in the intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent as a normal student with a cumulative 60% in PCM course.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.25,500- 81,100/-
HEAD CONSTABLE (Radio Mechanic) – 30
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System Maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
OR
Pass in Intermediate or 12th Standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.25,500- 81,100/-
The vacancies are in Border Security Force (Communication Setup). The candidates will be appointed on a Direct Recruitment basis. The posts are Temporary but likely to be made Permanent.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
Male Candidates: Height — 168 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cms; Chest (expanded) — 85 cms; Weight — Corresponding to Height and age.
Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (154 cms for ST candidates); Weight — Corresponding to Height and Age.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes and should possess high color vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be through Written Tests, Physical Standard Tests (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Documentation, Dictation Test, and Medical Examinations.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
