BORDER SECURITY FORCE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 19 POSTS OF SUB- INSPECTOR (STAFF NURSE), ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (PHARMACIST) QUALIFIED AND CONSTABLE (MASALCHI). LAST DATE — 24/07/2016
1. Sub- Inspector (Staff Nurse) Group-B:03 Nos. (Gen-01, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme.
Candidates must have Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with Central or State Nursing Council. Desirable: Experience in the field of Tuberculosis, Hospital Administration, Sister Tutor, Public health, Pediatrics, Psychiatry.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-30 years as on Last date of application form
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. Assistant Sub-Inspector Pharmacist Qualified (Group-C Post): 15 Nos. (Gen-05, ST-04, OBC-06)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy Candidates should have valid Registration as Pharmacist.
Age Limit: Minimum- 18years and maximum-25 years as on Last date of application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
3. Constable (Masalchi) Group-C: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with Two years work experience in respective trade.
Candidates must have done one year certificate course with at least one year experience in the trade OR Two years/Diploma in the trade or similar trade.
Age Limit: Minimum- 18years and maximum-25 years as on Last date of application form
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 03yrs to OBC and 05yrs to SC/ST candidates will be given. Upper age relaxation for Ex-Serviceman and etc. will be as per norms (See Advt.).
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
For the post of SI (Staff Nurse) and ASI (Pharmacist)
(i) Male Candidates: Height – 165 cms (162.5cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 76cms/ 81cms (76cms/81cms for ST); Weight – Corresponding to height & age.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height – 150 cms (150 cms for ST); Chest – Not applicable; Weight – Corresponding to height & age.
For the post of CT (Masalchi)
(i) Male Candidates: Height – 167.5 cms (162.5cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 78cms/ 83cms (76cms/81cms for ST); Weight – Corresponding to height & age.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height – 157 cms (150 cms for ST); Chest – Not applicable; Weight – Corresponding to height & age.
Cut-offs in height /chest for hilly areas (N.E States) candidates is as per Govt. norms. See PDF file provided below. Candidates should be physically fit and free from any bodily deformities.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through All India Written Examination (Objective type multiple choice), Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Professional Knowledge/ Trade Test and finally Medical Examination (See PDF file provided below for more details).

Examination Fee: Rs.50/- in form of Postal Order or bank draft drawn in favour of the DDO of respective Examination Centres payable at respective branch/agencies (See PDF below for list of addresses)
NO FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST, FEMALE AND EX-SERVICEMAN CANDIDATES.

Two self addressed envelopes of size of 25 x12 cms with postal stamp worth Rs. 27/- on each should also be attached with the application form.
