Educational Qualification
- Essential: Graduation from a recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent by the State Government as of 01.08.2025.

How to Apply for BPSSC Sub-Inspector Prohibition 2026
Candidates must apply online through the official BPSSC website. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official BPSSC website: https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in
Step 2: Go to the ‘Prohibition Dept.’ Tab and click on the link for Advt. No. 03/2026.
Step 3: Register using a valid mobile number and email ID.
Step 4: Complete the first part of the application (Registration) and pay the fee online.
Step 5: After successful payment, log in with your Registration ID and Password.
Step 6: Fill the second part of the application with personal, educational, and address details.
Step 7: Upload scanned photograph and signature as per specified format and size.
Step 8: Review, submit the application, and take a printout of the Acknowledgement.
Important:
- Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
- Candidates must possess a valid mobile number and email ID registered in their name for all communication.
- Reservation benefits are only for domiciles of Bihar. Candidates from other states must apply under the Unreserved category.
Important Instructions
- Reservation Documents: Candidates claiming reservation must upload valid category/caste certificates issued by competent authorities of Bihar Government in the prescribed format.
- Nativity Proof: Candidates must be original residents of Bihar. Proof of domicile may be required.
- Married Women Candidates: Must submit a declaration of not being pregnant at the time of PET. If found pregnant during medical examination, they will be disqualified.
- No Correspondence: The Commission will not entertain any correspondence regarding conduct of examination, result, or reasons for not being called.
Bihar Police SI Prohibition Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-06 as per the 7th Pay Commission, along with other admissible allowances as per Bihar Government rules.
