NAME OF THE DISCIPLINE AND NO. OF POSTS ALONG WITH QUALIFICATION REQUIRED IS AS FOLLOWS: —
1. Chemical: 15 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—3; ST—2 & OBC—5)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
2. Mechanical: 5 Nos. (Gen—4 & ST—1)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
3. Electrical: 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
4. Instrumentation: 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Instrumentation OR Electronics Engineering Engineering.
5. Civil: 2 Nos. (Gen—1 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
6. Materials Management: 4 Nos. (Gen—3 & SC—1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering or 2 years MBA/P.G. Diploma with specialization in Materials Management.
7. Finance & Accounts: 7 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1 & OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: Graduate with CA/ICWA.
8. Personnel & Administration: 2 Nos. (Gen—1 & SC—1)
Educational Qualification: 2 years P.G. Degree or Diploma in PM&IR/HRM/Labour & Social Works/MBA with specialization in PM&IR/HRM.
9. Legal: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: BL or L.L.B. degree with 2 years experience of legal practice.
NOTE: For all the above mentioned posts, the qualification viz. BE/ B.Tech / PG degree / PGDM / MBA should a full time course and with 60% marks/equivalent grade in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates) in respective discipline.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8600/- to Rs.14600/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years; OBC is 3 years; PH is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.
Application fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PH) through any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (All India Selection Test) and Interview. Written Test will be at various Centres. Candidates from West Bengal may choose “Kolkata” as their centre.
