1. Assistant Sub Inspector (RO): 35 Nos. (Gen—19; OBC—8; SC—5; ST—3)
Qualification: 03 years Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from recognized Institutions
OR
10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of 50% with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
2. Head Constable (RO): 228 Nos. (Gen—96; OBC—62; SC—43; ST—27)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and 02 years ITI certificate course in Radio & TV or Electronics
OR
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
3. Head Constable (Fitter): 06 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and 02 years ITI Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic
OR
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age Limit (For all posts): Minimum 18yrs and maximum 25yrs as on 07/07/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay for ASI (RM) is Rs.2800/- and Rs.2400/- for HC (RO/ Fitter) plus other allowances as per norms.
Physical Standards:
For Male Candidates: Height—168 cms (162.5 for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80cms/85cms (76/81 cms for ST); Weight—As per Medical Standard.
For Female Candidates: Height—157 cms(154cms for ST); Chest—Not Applicable; Weight—As per Medical Standard.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Physical Efficiency Test will be as follows —
For Male candidates: (i) Race of 1.6 KM in 6.5 minutes, (ii) Long Jump of 11 feet in 3 chances; (iii) High Jump of 3.5 feet in 3 chances.
For Female candidates: (i) Race of 800 metres in 4 minute, (ii) Long jump of 9 feet in 3 chances; (iii) High Jump of 3 feet in 3 chances.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Dictation Test [for HC (RO) only], Interview and finally Medical Examination.
At first phase of recruitment, the Written Test will be conducted. Candidate who will qualify Written test will be called for further selection steps. Written Test will be on OMR sheet and may conducted on 24 August 2014.
