1. Individual Events: 297 Nos. (for both Male-192 Nos. & Female-105 Nos.)

(i) Athletics: 59 Nos. (Male—42 & Female—17)
(ii) Archery: 14 Nos.
(iii) Boxing: 25 Nos.
(iv)Cross Country: 18 Nos.
(v)Gymnastics: 11 Nos.
(vi)Judo: 17 Nos.
(vii)Aquatic (Swimming, Diying & Water Polo): 41 Nos.
(viii)Shooting: 29 Nos.
(ix)Weightlifting: 17 Nos.
(x)Water Sports (Kayaking, Canoeing & Rowing): 29 Nos.
(xi)Wrestling (Free Style & Greco Roman): 37 Nos.

2. Team Events: 49 Nos. (for Male only)

(i)Basketball: 12 Nos.
(ii)Football: 08 Nos.
(iii)Hockey: 08 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Class 10/Matriculation passed.

Sports Qualification: Sportsperson who have represented a State or the Country in the National or International competition or their University in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the Inter –University Sports Board or State Schools team in National Sports or Games for Schools Conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the Games/Sports. Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2015. The upper age relaxation for reserved category will be as per govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards:
Male Candidates: (i) Height: 170cms (162.5cms for ST); (ii) Chest: 80-85cms (76/81cms for ST) (iii) Weight: Correspondence to height and age as per medical standards.
Female Candidates: (i) Height: 157cms (150cms for ST); (ii)Chest – Not applicable; (iii) Weight: Correspondence to height and age as per medical standards

For cut-off in physical standards in case of candidates from Hill areas and Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Laddakh regions of J&K, please refer the advt. link given below.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Height Bar/Test; Identity Check; Verification of Documents/Testimonials; Physical Standard test; Trial in respective sports discipline and Medical Examination.
