BSF INVITES APPLICATION FOR 05 POSTS OF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL) IN DIFFERENT TRADES OF MOTOR TRANSPORT WORKSHOP CADRE. LAST DATE — 29/06/2015

 

Constable (Technical) In BSF for Motor Transport Workshop Cadre
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—

(i) CT (Auto Electrician): 01 Nos. (ST)
(ii) CT (Vulcanize or Operator Tyre Repair Plant): 02 Nos. (SC—01 & ST—01)
(iii) CT (Painter): 01 Nos. (ST)
(iv) CT (Store Keeper): 01 Nos. (ST)

 

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10th passed and ITI certificate in respective trade.
OR 3 years work experience in respective trade.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 to Maximum 25 years as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standard Test:
For Men— (i) Height: 165cms (ii) Chest: 75 cms (80cms after expansion) (iii) Weight—as per medical standard.
For Women— (i) Height:157cms (ii) Weight —as per medical standard (iii) Chest: Not applicable

Height and Chest will be relaxed for Hill areas and reserved candidates. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male— (i) 1 kms Run: within 6 mins (ii) High jump 3 feet 6 inches: Max 3 attempts (iii) Long jump 9 feet: Max 3 attempts.

Female— (i) 1 Kms Run: 8 mins (ii) High jump 3 feet: Max 3 attempts (iii) Long jump 7 feet: Max 3 attempts.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Technical Aptitude, Trade Test, Written Test, Practical and Interview.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF file below) along with two self attested passport size photographs and self attested testimonials in support of Educational Qualification certificates, Caste certificate, Age proof, Experience certificate (wherever applicable) and Etc.
Candidates must enclose two self-addressed envelopes of size of 25 x 12 cms affixed with postal stamp of Rs.27/- on each.

No Application Fee for SC/ST candidates.
