Physical Standards:
For Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) & Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector):
- Height: Male-165 Cms (with a 5 Cms relaxation for Hill Tribes and Adhivasis), Female-Height should be at least 150 Cms.
- Chest: Male-76-80 Cms (with a 2 Cms relaxation for candidates below 20 years of age), Female-Not Applicable.
- Weight: Corresponding to height.
For Constable (Storeman):
- Height: Male-165 Cms, Female-Height should be at least 150 Cms.
- Chest: Male-80 Cms (Un-expanded) and 85 Cms (Expanded), Female-Not Applicable.
- Weight: Corresponding to height.
For Sub Inspector (Works), Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical), Head Constable (Plumber), Head Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Generator Operator), Constable (Generator Mechanic), Constable (Lineman):
- Height: Male-165 Cms (with a 5 Cms relaxation for Hill Tribes and Adhivasis), Female-157 Cms.
- Chest: Male-76 Cms (Un-expanded) and 81 Cms (Expanded) (with a 2 Cms relaxation for candidates below 20 years of age), Female-Not Applicable.
- Weight: Male-Proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards, Female-According to height but not less than 46 Kgs.

- Plus a service charge of Rs. 47.2/- will be charged to every candidate by the CSC (Common Service Centre).
- Payment Mode: Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or at the nearest authorized Common Service Centre.
For BSF Engineering Setup (Group-B):
- All Candidates: Rs. 200/-
- SC/ST/BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen: Nil
- Plus a service charge of Rs. 47.2/- will be charged to every candidate by the CSC (Common Service Centre).
- Payment Mode: Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or at the nearest authorized Common Service Centre.
