Required Qualification: Candidates should have done 3yrs Diploma in Engineering in any one of the followings—(a) Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical, Radio, Computer, Instruments Technology and Information Technology. (b) M.Sc. (Electronics) from recognised University/Institute.
Age limit: 18yrs to 27yrs as on 31/10/2011. Age relaxation: OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs and Departmental candidates- as per govt. norms and rules.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which will be of 3hrs and questions will be Multiple Choice Types on following topics—(i) General Ability Test, (ii) Basic Engineering and (iii) Specialisation. There will be total 200 Nos. questions and each will carry one marks. There is negative marking for wrong answer.
How to Apply: Application format can be prepared on plain A-4 size paper as per given format. Along with application form, candidates should enclosed the following documents—
- Demand Draft of Rs.500/- addressed to—“A.O. (B&A), BSNL, O/o C.G.M.T., Bihar Circle, Patna”. (Not required for SC/ST and PH candidates)
- 3 copies of passport size photographs (one copy (self-attested) pasted on application form and 2 copies (without attestation) pasted on two Admit Card)
- Two self addressed envelope (27x12cms) without any postal stamp
- Attested copy of Matriculation certificate for age proof
- Attested certificate of Diploma/ Degree in Engineering.
- Attested copy of Caste Certificate
- Attested copy of PH certificates for PH candidates
- Attested copy of Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Serviceman
