1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: MBA from a reputed organization.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in business development/ marketing in life science industry.
Desirable: i) MSc in Life Sciences or related subject.
ii) Experience in business development/ marketing in genomics services industry.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.78750 per month
2. PROJECT COORDINATOR- FINANCE

Educational Qualification: M.Com or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 03 years’ experience in industry.
Desirable: i) MBA or equivalent from a reputed organization.
ii) Experience in life science/ genomics services industry.
iii) Experience in preparation of bills and handling financial queries of clients.
iv) Experience in preparation of Utilization Certificate of funds, Audit negotiations, Responding to Audit queries.

3. COMPUTATIONAL LABORATORY MANAGER

Educational Qualification: PhD in Statistics/ Informatics/ Computational Biology related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in computational analysis of massively parallel DNA sequencing data.

4. TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE (EXPERIMENTAL & COMPUTATIONAL)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: (a) For Experimental:-
i) MSc or equivalent (or BSc with 03 years laboratory experience) in Genetics/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ related discipline.
ii) Minimum 05 years of experience of working in high-throughput genomics platforms (massively parallel sequencing and microarray).
iii) Proficiency in massively parallel sequencing library preparation and/ or operation of sequencing/ microarray platforms.
(b) For Computational:-
i) B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MSc/ MCA degree/ equivalent in computer science/ Bioinformatics or a related discipline.
ii) Minimum 05 years of experience of working in analysis of massively parallel DNA sequencing data.
iii) Proficiency of working in Unix (Linux) environment and demonstrated experience in UNIX command line.
Desirable: (a) For Experimental:-
i) Experience in whole genome/ targeted sequencing, RNA-Seq, GWAS and Methylation Array.
ii) Experience in laboratory automation platforms.
iii) Experience in a service laboratory.
(b) For Computational:-
i) Experience in handling and installation of software packages, genomic databases and data analysis pipelines.
ii) Proficiency in programming in C/C++ or python.
iii) Experience in a service laboratory.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.73500 per month
The vacancies are for National Genomics Core at the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of Eight (08) months, extendable depending upon performance of the candidates and requirements of the project.
