Calcutta High Court Group D Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

i) Class – VIII pass.
ii) Must have up-to-date India Driving Licence (West Bengal),
iii) Efficiency in driving cars/light motor vehicles of different categories,
iv) Knowledge of Automobile mechanisms.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as of the date of application.

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix: 6 (Rs. 22,700/- – Rs. 58,500/-) with minimum pay at Rs. 24,100/-

Calcutta High Court Driver Recruitment 2024 Application fees

The application requires an examination fee, of Rs. 500/- for general category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST (West Bengal). Exempted category applicants are not charged. Payment is through an Indian Postal Order payable to “Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta” at Kolkata G.P.O. Include IPO details in the application.

Calcutta High Court Group D Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Practical Test in Driving, followed by an Interview for qualified candidates. The Practical Test carries 80 marks, and candidates must secure a minimum of 50 marks to proceed to the Interview. The Interview carries 20 marks, with a cutoff of 5 marks. Final merit lists will be prepared based on the combined scores of the Practical Test and Interview.

Calcutta High Court Driver Recruitment 2024 Application Process

To apply for the specified position, candidates must complete the application form accurately, providing all required details in neat handwriting or typing. Alongside the application, candidates must submit self-attested copies of relevant certificates and testimonials. Examination fees must be paid through an Indian Postal Order, with Rs. 500/- for general category applicants and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal, while candidates from the exempted category are not required to pay any fees.
