Office of the City Civil Court, Calcutta is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 15 posts of English Stenographer, Summons Bailiff, Peon and Farash. OFFICE OF THE CITY CIVIL COURT, CALCUTTA IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 15 POSTS OF ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER, SUMMONS BAILIFF, PEON AND FARASH. LAST DATE — 20/05/2016

 

1. English Stenographer (Group-B): 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent with a Certificate in Computer Training and good fingering speed in Computer operation.
Candidates must have minimum speed of @ 80 wpm in Shorthand and minimum speed of @ 30wpm in Typewriting.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.7100/- Rs.37600/- and Grade Pay Rs.3900/-

 

2. Summons Bailiff (Group- C): 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Class- VIII pass
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5400/- Rs.25200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2300/-

 

3. Peon (Group- D): 10 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-02, SC-03)
Educational Qualification: Class- VIII pass
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.4900/- Rs.16200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1700/-

 

4. Farash (Group- D): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Class- VIII pass
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.4900/- Rs.16200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1700/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Note: SC/ST/OBC Candidates of other States will be treated as General Candidates

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection for the candidates will be through Typing Test, Computer Operation Test, and Personality Test and for the post of Summons Bailiff, Peon and Farash there will be Written Examination.

Candidates selected for the post will be on temporary basis but like to be permanent in future.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only) for the post under Group B and C category AND Rs.100/- (Rs.25 for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only) for the post under Group-D, as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Office of the City Civil Court, Calcutta. Candidates must also enclose 01 (25 cm x 11 cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.5/-
