HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA, ORIGINAL SIDE, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 21 POSTS OF ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (COURT RECORDING). LAST DATE — 08/06/2016

 

1. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (COURT RECORDING): 21 Nos. (UR- 09; SC- 6; ST- 1; OBC- 4; PWD-1)

Educational Qualification: Graduate and must possess knowledge of vernacular of the State of West Bengal as well as good knowledge of the English language.
Candidates should have knowledge of Computer typing and should have Shorthand speed at 160 words per minute and transcribe of those at speed of 40 words per minute on computer in English.

 

Age Limit: Not less than 18 years but not more than 32 years as on 08/06/2016

 

Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.42000/- and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Competitive test.

Candidates will be appointed initially on temporary basis. Age relaxation/Reservation is applicable to SC/ST, OBC candidates of State West Bengal only. SC/ST, OBC candidates of other states will be treated as unreserved candidates.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- (Rs.75/- in case of SC/ST and PWD candidates) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan.
