High Court at Calcutta, Appellate Side, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 32 posts of P.A./Stenographer, Grade –“C”. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) along with testimonials. Candidates selected for the post will be on temporary but are likely to be made permanent. HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA, APPELLATE SIDE, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 32 POSTS OF P.A./STENOGRAPHER, GRADE € “C”. LAST DATE — 06/05/2016.

 

1. P.A./Stenographer, Grade – “C”: 32 Nos. (UR-08, SC-11, ST-06, OBC-07)

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
Candidates must have speed in shorthand @ 120wpm and Type writing at 30wpm.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-32 years as on 01/01/2016

 

Pay Scale: Rs.7100/- Rs.37600/- and Grade Pay Rs.3600/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Upper age relaxation and vacancies reservations are applicable to only reserved categories of state West Bengal. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (A)/OBC (B) of other States shall be treated as Unreserved category candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Test in in Shorthand at the speed of 120 words per minute. The text is to be transcribed in own handwriting within 45 minutes thereafter. The candidates selected and shortlisted on the basis of the result in the above test shall be required to undergo a further test in Shorthand, to be followed by direct transcription of the text through the aid of a Computer at the speed of 30 w.p.m (See PDF file given below for more details).

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for S.C./S.T. of West Bengal candidates only) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Postal Order drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta, payable at G.P.O. at Calcutta.

Full signature of the candidate with date must be given at the bottom of the application.

Two recent and identical passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the front portion of both (one to be pasted on the top right corner of the application and the other to be stitched/stapled with the application.

Candidates must enclose self-attested documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, knowledge in Computer, caste certificate and Employment Exchange Card, etc.

Candidates must also enclose 01 (25 cm x 11 cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.5/-

Every application must be submitted in a closed envelope mentioning therein the category and the post applied for on the bottom left corner.
