Calcutta High Court, Appellate Side, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the post of – COOK and SWEEPER on purely on contractual basis. The candidates must have knowledge of Bengali as well as ability to communicate in Hindi. Interested candidates may submit their application within prescribed date. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief —
COOK: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Class VIII Pass. Experience in cooking both Veg. & Non-Veg. items will be preferred.
Consolidate Pay: Rs.6600/-
SWEEPER: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Class VIII Pass.
Consolidate Pay: Rs.6600/-
Candidates for both posts, must have proper knowledge in Bengali and ability to communicate in Hindi.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of the application.
Selection of the candidates will be through Interview (Viva-voce) followed by practical test in cooking (For the post of Cook only).
Engagement to the posts are on contractual basis and is renewable at the discretion of the Appointing Authority on the basis of satisfactory performance of the candidate.

How to Apply: Interested candidates may prepare the application on plain legal size (8.5” x 14”) paper mentioning the following details — (1) Full name of the candidate (in capital letters), (2) Father’s/Husband’s Name, (3) Name of the Post applied for, (4) Date of Birth, (5) Actual age as on the date of application, (6) Address (Present and Permanent) with Telephone No., if any, (7) Educational Qualifications, (8) Experience, if any (For Cook), (9) Whether belongs to S.C. / S.T. / O.B.C., (10) Nationality and (11) I.P.O. No. Amount and date.
Full signature of the candidate with date must be given at the bottom of the application.
Candidates must enclose attested copies of testimonials and documents in support of Qualification, Age proof, Experience (as applicable), Caste and Etc.
Candidates must enclose two recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the frontal portion of both of it (one to be pasted on the top right hand corner of the application and the other to be stitched with the application) AND one self-addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.5/- affixed on it.
Application fee: Candidates must pay Application fee of Rs.100/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST candidates only) by Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta and payable at GPO, Calcutta.
