Calicut University Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2024
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in Education or a relevant field from an Indian University or equivalent from a foreign university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) clearance or equivalent (or exempted as per UGC regulations).
- Ph.D. degree holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET under certain conditions.
Age Limit: As per UGC regulations, there is no specified age limit for the post of Assistant Professor.
Remuneration: The pay for the position of Assistant Professor in the Education Department is ₹42,000 per month (Consolidated).
Calicut University Faculty Application Process 2024
The application process involves online submission through the University of Calicut website, where candidates can find the link for application submission along with other relevant details. After completing the online application, candidates are required to send a printout of the application along with self-attested copies of necessary documents to the university.
These documents should include certificates verifying educational qualifications, age, caste/community, experience, percentage of marks, teaching/research projects, research publications, and any other achievements. Candidates must ensure that they provide all required documents in original for verification during the interview, with a soft copy prepared as well. The deadline for online submission of applications is March 6, 2024, and the printout along with documents should reach the university by March 11, 2024.
