ICAR – Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 12 posts of Technician (Jr. Lib Assistant, Draughtsman, Electrician, Fitter, Farm Mechanic) and Technical Assistant (Jr. Librarian, Engg Asst, Lab Assistant, Computer Asstt., Etc). CENTRAL ISLAND AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE INVITES APPLICATION FOR 12 POSTS OF TECHNICIAN AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANT. LAST DATE – 01/03/2015 (16.03.2015)

 

TECHNICIAN: —

1. Junior Library Assistant: 1 (UR)
Qualification: Class 10 pass plus one year trade certificate on library science

2. Draughtsman (Civil): 1 (UR)
Qualification: Class 10 plus one year trade certificate from ITI/Equivalent.

3. Electrician-cum-Tube well Operator: 1 (ST)
Qualification: Class 10 pass plus one year trade certificate from ITI/ Equivalent.

4. Fitter: 1 (SC)
Qualification: Class 10 pass plus one year trade certificate from ITI/equivalent

5. Farm Mechanic: 1 (UR)
Qualification: Class 10 pass plus one year trade certificate from ITI/equivalent

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT: —

6. Junior Librarian:1 (UR)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Library Science.

7. Engineering Assistant (Civil): 1 (UR)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Civil Engineering

8. Laboratory Assistant: 1 (UR)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Bio-technology

9. Computer Assistant: 1 (UR)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Computer Science

10. Horticulture Assistant: 1 (ST)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Horticulture Science

11. Garden Superintendent: 1 (SC)
Qualification: 03 years Degree in Horticulture Science

12. Livestock Assistant: 1 (SC)
Qualification: Bachelor in Veterinary Science.

 

Desirable (Applicable to all above posts): Candidates with Experience/ Working experience in any research/ recognized organization is desirable.

 

Age Limit: 18— 30 years. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

 

Pay Scale (For all above posts): Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
