Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for Central Teacher Eligibility Test Unit (CTET)-2016 for appointment as Teacher for class I to VIII. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the CBSE (See URL below). CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST UNIT (CTET)-2016

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts CTET every year for appointment of Teachers for Class I and VIII. Therefore candidates who want to a Teacher in Schools of Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the https://www.karmasandhan.com/wp-content/uploads/Madhya-Pradesh-MP-PEB-Group-2-Sub-Group-4-Various-Post-Answer-Key-2021.jpgistrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi will have to appear for CTET.

CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET. A State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

There are two papers, viz. Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who wants to be a Teacher for Class I to V should appear for Paper-I and Candidates opting for Class-VI to VIII should appear for Paper-II. However candidates may also opt to appear for both papers, if wish.

Candidates who quality this examination are awarded with CTET Certificate. The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

 

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

 

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

 

Note: Relaxation up to 5% in educational Qualification for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled person is applicable.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through 10th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 18-09-2016 (Sunday). Examination for both papers, i.e. Paper-I & Paper-II will be on same day from 9:30 to 12:00 hours and 14:00 to 16:30 hours respectively.

The candidates may download Admit Card from CTET website w.e.f. 17.08.2016 onwards and appear for the examination at the given Centre. Examination will be at various centres across the country (See PDF file given below).

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- for one Paper (Rs.300/- in case of SC, ST, PWD) AND Rs.1000/- for both papers (Rs.500/- in case of SC, ST, PWD) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education, CTET — www.ctet.nic.in (See link to Application form given below) from dated 22.06.2016 to 18.07.2016

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/  Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO CBSE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
