Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 366 candidates for the post of – Sub-Inspector (Civil) and Constable/ Pioneer (Mason/Plumber/ Electrician). Interested and eligible candidates may apply in prescribed Application format. The recruitment is on All India Basis. Qualification norms and information in brief is given below —
1. Sub-Inspector (Civil): 54 Nos. (Gen—25; OBC—16; SC—08; ST—05)
Qualification: Intermediate with 3yrs of diploma in Civil Engineering.
Age Limits: between 21yrrs to 30 yrs as on 01/01/2013.
Pay scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4200 plus other allowances.
2. CT/Pioneer: Trade wise vacancies were as follows—
— Mason: 194 Nos. (Gen—105; OBC—45; SC—28; ST—16)
— Plumber: 46 Nos. (Gen—23; OBC—12; SC—7; ST—4)
— Electrician: 72 Nos. (Gen—36; OBC—20; SC—11; ST—5)
Qualification Required: Matriculation or equivalent with One year of experience in respective trades, i.e in Masonry or Plumbing or Electrician. Preference will be given to those who ITI trade certificate.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01/01/2013.
Pay scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4200. plus other allowances.
Physical Standards:—
For Sub-Inspector: Height—170cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 80cms/ 85cms and Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
For Constable/ Pioneer: Height—170cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 80cms/85cms and Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
N.B: cut-off in physical standards for hill area candidates and ST as well as Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms. (Refer the Advt. for details).
selection of the candidates will be through (i) Physical Measurement, (ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), (iii) Written Examination and finally Medical examination for fitness test. There will be Trade Test after Written Examination for the post of Constable/ Pioneer (Refer the below link for details on selection steps).

APPLICATION FEE: Candidates must pay Application fee of Rs.50/- in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft payable in favour of the DIGP of respective application receiving centre.
No fee is required for SC/ST categories.
Last Date of Application: The Application Form along with enclosures must reach on or before 13th February 2013.
