Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Chennai, is recruiting 10 candidates for Group C posts — Staff Nurse, Pharmacist (Allopathy), Ayurvedic Pharmacist, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife and Lab Assistant on direct recruitment basis. 1. Staff Nurse: 1 No. (SC)
Qualification: 10+2 and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be registered as Nurse & Mid wife. In lieu of Midwifery, a six month duration course as per Indian Nursing Council is required in case of Male Nurse.
One year experience is desirable.
Age:21—35yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-
2. Pharmacist (Allopathy): 3 Nos. (UR)
Qualification: 10+2 with Science Stream (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology) and approved Diploma in Pharmacy. Candidates should be registered as Pharmacist.
Age: 18—30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-
3. Ayurvedic Pharmacist: 1 No. (UR)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent with Science stream (Physics or Chemistry or Biology) and Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmacy or Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy course of not less than 02 years duration course.
Candidates should have two years experience in the field.
Age: 20—30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-
4. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife course of not less than 2 years duration and should be registered as Auxiliary Nurse Midwife with the respective Nursing Council.
Experience and Training in Family Welfare is desirable.
Age: 18—30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
5. Lab Assistant: 3 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) of one year duration course.
Preference will be given to candidates with Higher Secondary in Science (10+2 Vocational stream of MLT).
One year experience in Laboratory work is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
