Chandigarh Police is recruiting 5 Clerks on temporary basis. Eligible candidates may apply for the vacancies from the official website of Chandigarh Police within last date (see below). The vacancies are reserved for SC and OBC Category only. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief —
CLERKS
Number of Vacancies: 5 Nos. (SC—2; OBC—3)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and must be proficient in Computer Operation (MS Office/ Work/ Spread sheets) and shall have ability to type 35 words per minute in English on Computer.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 30yrs for SC candidates and between 18yrs to 28yrs for OBC candidates as on 01-01-2013.
Selection of the candidates will be through Typing Test, Written Test on Computer and Interview. Only candidates who will qualify Typing Test will be called for Written Test and on basis of Written test, will be called for Interview. (See the below link for detailed advt.)
Date and venue of Typing Test will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

Upon successful submission of Online application form, a system generated Registration form will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it on plain paper and then shall sent it to the below address along with testimonials and Bank Draft of Rs.200/- as Application Fee.
Application Fee: Rs.200/- is to paid in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of – “Section Officer/ Accounts, Sector—9, UT/ Police Headquarters” payable at – Chandigarh.
Address to send the Application form: The system generated print-out application along with Application Fee and Enclosures must reach by Speed post/ Registered post at the following address — “Senior Superintendent of Police/ Hqrs, Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh”.
