Chandigarh Police Headquarters (U.T), Chandigarh Police is recruiting 35 Constable (Wireless Operator) on temporary basis in the pay scale of Rs.10300 – 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.3200 with usual allowances. CONSTABLE (WIRELESS OPERATOR)
Number of Vacancies: 35 Nos. (Gen—20; SC—06; OBC—09). Total vacancies reserved for Male candidates are 14 Nos., for Female candidates – 17 Nos. and for Ex-Servicemen is 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Science and Math as on 01-01-2014.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 and maximum 23 years as on 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation for OBC candidates is 03 years and SC candidates are 05 years. For Ex-Servicemen and others – as per norms.
Physical Standards:
For Male candidates: Height—5.7 ft; Chest—33 inches (with expansion of one and half inch)
For Female candidates: Height—5.2 ft; Chest – Not Applicable.
Cut-off in Height or Chest will be given eligible candidates (See PDF below for details).
Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General category and Rs.300/- for OBC categories and Rs.200/- for SC categories. Fee is to be paid by means of Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Selection Officer/ Accounts, UT Police Hqrs”, and payable at “Chandigarh”
