1. Scientist/Senior Scientist: 11 Posts (PWD-2; OBC-2; Gen-1 & SC-3)
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows-
(i) Plant Breeding: 02 Nos. (PWD-01 & SC-01)
(ii)Agronomy Soil Science: 04 Nos. (PWD-01; Gen-01; OBC-01 & SC-01)
(iii) Rural Development Extension: 01 Nos. (Gen)
(iv) Botany & Pharmacognosy: 01 Nos. (SC)
(v) Plant Physiology: 01 Nos. (Gen)
(vi) Plant Pathology: 01 Nos. (OBC)
(vii) Synthetic Biology: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subjects OR Ph.D. in the area of subjects with 2 years Postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years for Scientist and Maximum 37 years for Senior Scientist as on 01.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay (RS.6600/- for Scientist & Rs.7600/- for Senior Scientist) per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
2. Technical Assistant: 10 Posts (PWD-2; OBC-3; Gen-3; SC-1 & ST-1)
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows-
(i) Project Management: 01 Nos. (Gen)
(ii) Horticulture/Floriculture: 01 Nos. (OBC)
(iii) Chemistry/Instrumentation: 02 Nos. (PWD-01 & OBC-01)
(iv) Farm Management: 01 Nos. (SC)
(v) Extension: 01 Nos. (ST)
(vi) Botany (Tissue Culture): 01 Nos. (OBC)
(vii) Synthetic Biology: 01 Nos. (Gen)
(viii) Publication: 01 Nos. (PWD)
(ix) Photography/Mass Communication: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 1st Class B.Sc. in relevant subject with 1 year Professional Qualification or 1 year experience in the area of relevant trade.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- to Rs. 34800/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.4200 per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
3. Technician (Agriculture/Horticulture) : 01 Posts (PWD-01)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th passed with Science Subjects (55% marks) plus ITI certificate in Agriculture/Horticulture or 2 years experience as an apprenticeship training in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms
Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years and others – as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of their qualification, experience and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
