Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is recruiting 176 ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (EXE) and HEAD CONSTABLE (GD) against vacancies under Sports Quota. CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE INVITES APPLICATION FOR 176 ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (EXE) AND HEAD CONSTABLE (GD). LAST DATE – 22/01/2015 (29.01.2015)

 

1. Assistant Sub Inspector (Exe) — 79 posts.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University
Age Limit: 20—25yrs as last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/- & other allowances.
Physical Standards: Height—170 cms (162.5 for ST) for Male candidates and 157 cms (154 for ST) for Female candidates; Chest (unexpanded/expanded)— 80/85 cms. Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates.

 

2. Head Constable (GD) — 97 posts.
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from recognized institution/board
Age Limit: 18—23 yrs as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2400/- & other allowances
Physical Standards: Height—167 cms for Male candidates and 153cms (154 for ST) for Female candidates; Chest (unexpanded/expanded)— 81/86 cms. Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates. See officially released advertisement for more details.

The upper age limit indicated above is for candidates belonging to General Category. The upper age limit will be relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST.

 

Discipline/ Sports where vacancies are available —
For Men: Athletics, Boxing, Judo, Swimming, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Basketball, Football, Hand Ball, Kabaddi and Volley Ball.
For Women: Athletics, Boxing, Judo and Weightlifting.

 

Sports Eligibility: Candidates must have represented the Country/ State in National/ International tournaments/championship or represented their University/School in sports event. Should have won a Medal/Gold Medal. Please see officially released advertisement for complete details.
